　The Research Center for Biomedical Engineering holds an annual meeting to promote interaction and invigorate the research community through the presentation of collaborative research results. In FY2025, the meeting was held fully in person, featuring a record-high 207 poster presentations and a rich program of activities.
　At the opening, Director Hiroyuki Kagechika of the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering at the Institute of Science Tokyo, who serves as the representative of the Center, reported on the Center’s activities during the past year and outlined the business plan for the coming year.
　Because of the large number of posters, the sessions were divided into three parts held in two venues on either side of the main auditorium. This format allowed presenters more opportunities to visit other posters, leading to lively and productive discussions.
