\nHonorary Members of the IEICE are individuals who have made special contributions to the study, technology, or related activities of electronics and information communications, and who have been nominated by a resolution of the Board of Directors.
\nThere are 106 honorary members out of 23,182 members. Among them are many people related to the University, such as Yasuharu Suematsu<\/a>, former President of the University, who was awarded the Order of Culture in 2015, and Kenichi Iga<\/a>, former President of the University, who was honored with the Order of Cultural Merit in 2022.<\/p>\n
