Asst. Prof. Yosuke Mizuno, Nakamura Laboratory, FIRST, IIR, received the Funai Information Technology Award 2017 from the Funai Foundation for Information Technology (FFIT) for his achievement: “Fiber-optic distributed sensing system with highest-ever sampling rate and highest-ever spatial resolution.” The awarding ceremony was given at the Funai Tetsuro Auditorium, Kyoto University, on April 21.<\/p>\n
