Prof. Yuji WADA<\/strong><\/a><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">\u3000I am Yuji Wada and was appointed as Assistant Professor at Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST) on October 1, 2020. I received my degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in March 2013. I am working on the numerical analysis of devices based on nonlinear acoustic phenomena such as acoustic streaming. In addition, I specialize in topology optimization to automatically determine the optimal material configuration of structures. I would like to investigate the optimal design of structures for vibration suppression or excitation by using topology optimization. Prof. Jianpeng ZHONG<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\uff08Specillay Appointed\uff09<span><\/span><br \/>\u3000I am appointed to an assistant professor (Specially appointed) of Biomedical Engineering Research Center at FIRST on October 1st, 2020. I obtained my Doctor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) degree from Xi&#8217;an Jiaotong University, China. For the last two years, I have worked as a researcher in FIRST. My research topic is modeling and motion control of magnetic bearings and fast steering mirrors using piezoelectric actuators.
