Research Center for Biomedical Engineering (RCBE) has been holding an annual meeting to activate the researcher community since 2016. This year, it was held in a hybrid style on March 3, 2023 by Tokyo Institute of Technology as a host university. There were 246 registered participants (including 210 on-site participants), 8 oral presentations and 161 poster presentations. On the day of the event, an opening address was given by Director Ohtake of the Institute of Innovative Research, Tokyo Institute of Technology. After opening, Prof. Kagechika, Director of the Institute of Biomaterials and Bioengineering, Tokyo Medical and Dental University which is the core institution of RCBE, explained the current activities and plan of next year. Eight oral presentations were delivered via Zoom, allowing collaborators who could not participate on-site. Due to the large number of posters, poster session was divided into the first and the second half. It was first face-to-face discussion in a while, the discussions were passionate and a great success. 10 excellent poster awards were given as a result of voting by all participants. Prof. Nakamura, Director of Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology gave a closing address, and the event ended on a high note.<\/p>\n
