Asst. Prof. Yasufumi YOKOSHIKI

My name is Yasufumi Yokoshiki.
I was appointed as Assistant Professor of Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST).
I obtained my doctoral degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in March 2020.
My research fields are chemical sensors. I studied gas-mixture quantification using field asymmetric ion mobility spectrometry during the doctoral course. The research used an active-sensing method in combination with the optimization problem method to quantify gas-mixture concentrations. My current work is the odor sensing system using cell-based odor biosensors. I have joined Tokuda lab in July. I would like to contribute my knowledge to developing novel sensors that are useful in society.
